My new goodies!!!!!!!!!!




I LOVE vintage photos so much!!!!!!!!! I don't know if I am a "nowdays" person or "vintage" person.:-)) I am weird, I know ...LOL....I love all kinds of vintage stuff, victorian stuff too !!!

I can't resist to purchase a new set of unmounted stamps ( Winter 2007)of Paper Bag Studio they have all 8 images and cost US 30( excluded shipping fees). I have received them and oh my, they even sent me 3 vintage photos pictures as a gift which I loveeeeeeeeeee so much.Thank you very much Paper Bag Studio.I am still thinking how to use these pictures on my project?? Any suggestions ?? I know you are reading....:-)))

I can't wait to try out the stamps on my cardmaking and hopefully could share it here.

Happy Birthday to Malaysia and my friend

Today is my country's Independence Day, it has been 50 years my country independent, so today is holiday! :-)) I have made three cards today but I want to show one of them, which is a birthday card for my friend who will having her 50 birthday in the next Monday.So, she is same old with our country:-)) Old but precious, I think.


As always, the card I made is really easy, but this time I used a puzzle to make a little different on the card.

Supplies needed:
1.Purple cardstock
2.Red paper
3.Junkitz patterned paper
4.yellow ribbon
5.flower stickers
6.Distress Ink pad
7.Puzzle( I used the puzzle my kids don't want to play anymore)
8.Adirondack Paint Dabber-Raspberry
9.Stamp-Birthday Wishes
10.Embossing powder-gold
11.Heat tool
12.Versamark Ink pad



Method:
1.Fold the purple cardstock to half.
2.Tear the patterned paper to desire shape, ink the edge with distress ink pad.
3.Cut the red paper to rectangle shape.
4.Adhere the red paper and patterned paper on the purple cardstock.
5.Adhere the flowers stickers on the red paper and patterned paper.
6.Dab the puzzle with adirondack dabber paint,let dry-its fun !
7.Stamp the Birthday Wishes with versamark ink on the puzzle.
8.Pour the embossing powder ,excess the extra and heat set.
9.Tie the puzzle with yellow ribbon,adhere with double sided tape and glue the ribbon.
10. Viola !

I hope that she will happy with the card !

I think I should attach my kids' artworks here!

Sam and Yileen had a very creative and wonderful time playing the clay that given by a magazine company as a gift that I subscribed.

I didn't guide them to play the clay just watched them played and keep smiled with their works. I think they are like mother like son/daughter, don't you think so ?:-))

Blue and Brown

What could you interpret with blue and brown ? I went to Craft Etc and suprised that their website is decorated with blue and brown theme.I surfed for a while and decided that I need to buy some stamping supplies from them.:-)

Actually I have made some cards using blue and brown combination.I think it's the trendy combination colors now.Its easy to coperate with some other embelishments like prima papers flowers, copper brads, eyelets.

Today I received a blue and brown card from Beth Spaulding.Beautiful Card indeed!Thank you Beth.

Another card made by me...really easy though:-))

Make the cardstock and adhere the patterned paper.Use black pen to draw the stitches using stitches template(by HOTP). Rub-on the saying on the white card and mat on red cardstock, tie the ribbon. Stamp the swirl stamp image.Viola! Really easy, isn't??

Speaking of Patterned Papers.....


I love patterned papers very much and it's always in my wishlist when I want to purchase some stamping supplies and I always blame that I don't have enough patterned papers to make my cards!:-(


Today, I have made a card using patterned papers, it's original a swap from RRM. I really enjoyed making this card, using two kind of patterned papers, stamped image and the trendy papers flowers from Prima, then I have my card done! Will send it to my partner tomorrow!!

I love decorating and always purchased some decorating books when I go to bookshop.Yesterday I bought Romantic Country from MPH and I want to share with you the beautiful wall paper that they have printed in the book.It's truly suprising and I am sure I will use it in my cardmaking.

Happy Day


I have received my stamping supplies today !! Hooooorayyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

So many supplies that I love very much and can't wait to try them now!!! But wait.... I will try them later on, yes, after my son's exam!!!!!:-))


I 've also received the newest Hero Arts 2007-2008 Holiday Catalog, full of stamping ideas, it's comes free with the Clear Design Fancy Scrolls.....but I am wonder why I got two from them ?? ..........Hero Arts really made my day!!!!
