2000 Hits Blog Candy-

Am just thinking about what are the benefits of making cards? Yes, BENEFITS ! Could you tell me ? I have spent lot's of money on it( and as the currency conversion ) to buy the stamping and cardmaking supplies, to mail the card and spend the postage on it, pay the internet bill, to join the group and to swap with crafters/cardmakers.All these costs A LOT. Should I carry on or give up ?
I love this hobby and moreover I know friends from around the world who have same hobby like me, and I also thinking what should come to the end of my cardmaking episode ? still making cards on my age of 80, if I bless by God? or maybe I have my own of stamping supplies store on my age of 50 ? and may be I can teach the younger of the art of cardmaking ? oh, I don't know, I need to think seriously....or what about your suggestions ? leave your comments here, I really appreciate :-)

As to celebrate the 2000 hits, I will randomly choose a winner who leave an comment here with the suggestion of my thought, yes, let me know what should I do to support my expensive hobby....or any suggestions, opinion regarding it.....

The winner will receive:
* a handmade card from me specially posted for you from Malaysia.
*a little souvenir from Malaysia.
*Chinese Empheras which consist:
Chinese wedding invitation card{very chinese, full of rich red color},red envelopes, chinese news paper for your Asian cards.
*a suprise from me !

So, hurry, I will pick a winner on next Monday,5th November.Don't miss your chance, maybe you are the winner:-))

Here is the challenge and congrats to DCM for the first anniversary! It sure has so many sweet memories there:-))

Our Amazing Circle Of Friends
The group of friends who got together to form the Daring Cardmakers back in October 2006 has developed and grown into a huge circle of crafting and blogging friends who come together from all over the world to share their inspiration and their talents so enthusiastically, and are always so supportive of each other's cardmaking.
In honour of all of you who've helped make this blog so successful, and such a friendly place to "play" we've decided to revisit our very first dare for this our first anniversary, but with a twist.
The subject is, as in our original dare "friends", but this time the title is CIRCLE of FRIENDS and we'd like you to incorporate at least one circle into your card.

Christmas Tree + Faux Stitches

Here is the combination of two challanges, my second christmas card:-)

DCM .

"O Christmas Tree. O Christmas Tree" Want to guess what needs to be featured on your cards this week? Yes, we want to see lots and lots of Christmas Trees - that should help you get those stocks of cards looking a bit healthier.

and Arty Girls

This week's challenge is 'stitches'...feel free to interpret our theme's any way you choose.....you could do real stitching, faux stitching, use the word 'stitches', sew a button on your project...it's entirely up to you ;)

I don't have my sewing mechine, yes, I know my mother has one, but that one is really old, Singer, product in 1969!! Dad bought it for my mom when they married! Really really old and BROKEN, it's antique now:-)
So I use faux stitches, just pierce holes with a needle!Very simple, but need to do on the back of the card.

Supplies Used: Patterned paper from American Craft, Basic Grey
Stamp: MSE.

ATC received today

Theme: Fall Colors, Angel.
Thank you girls, your art work is really a masterpiece!. I love them very much.
