High Hopes Challenges #49~ Non Traditional Christmas

I wish to follow my darling High Hopes Divas to make non traditional Xmas card this week, so time is very important for me because I really don't have much spare time recently. Finally, I do hope this card didn't dissapoint you all , who have waited so long for the very cute " tropical santa".

I know many of you googled "tropical santa" for some ideas to make christmas card, so I choose this stamp this week for this challenge, and....please forgive me, that's NO snowflakes in tropical:=))

High Hopes Challenge #46~ It's our birthday ( and my birthday too !!!)

Happy Sunday!!! We are so excited as this challenge we are celebrating our Blogoversary!!! Wow, can you believe we have been running our challenge blog now for 1 year!!! Wooo Hooooo!!!Lots more celebrations going on within our team too and we also say a HUGE Happy Birthday to Danielle for yesterday and also to mine for tomorrow!!! WOW, I will be 40 !!!!! Thank God for all the bless!!!!

Back to this challenge, I made a very simple and sweet birthday card using my favorite and first High Hopes rubberstamp which I purchased last year....I also used My Mind's Eye Pretty Please patterned paper to make the base, and punched with Martha Stewart Scalloped Dot punch, decorated with small mini roses which I bought from Nikki's store. I also used pearls stickers from Kaiser crafts to decorate the Label One Nesties. The sentiment also from High Hopes rubberstamps.

我很少进厨房:-))虽然我喜欢做些蛋糕或甜点, 但绝对不是烤鸡这道菜...

世上没有"绝对"这东西...就如我今天做的事....烤鸡...

对我来说这是大工程,但我要感谢阿查拉,

因为她的食谱让我有灵感做菜,谢谢你了,阿查拉!

这是柠檬烤鸡,

不会太酸,

因为我放了糖.

老公出差,

所以我只用了半只鸡,

但是,好象不够吃,

也放了很多蒜头,

所以很够味:-)

很好吃,可能明天还要再弄:-))

柠檬烤鸡- Lemon Roasted Chicken

鸡半只-洗净,抹干

(A)腌料

橄榄油2汤匙

檸檬/酸干1大粒,切一半,捏汁

黑胡椒粉少许

盐巴少许

大蒜6瓣,切幼

砂糖1大汤匙

以上腌料涂抹在鸡只,放入烤盘,然后放入冰箱2-3小时.

(B)蔬菜

红萝卜半条,切块

大葱1个,切块

番茄2个,切块

以上蔬菜加入少许盐,胡椒粉,橄榄油,用汤匙捞一捞.

做法:

从冰箱拿出腌好的鸡只,把所有的蔬菜放入鸡只两旁,放入微波炉,按"鸡只"按钮,再键入重量(约1kg),就可以了.

如果你没有微波炉,你需要把烤盘盖上铝箔纸,在薄铝纸上扎几个孔，在普通烤箱以220度先烤40分,接着,拿出来，拉开薄铝纸，再放回烤箱，200度烤30分钟或焦黄。这是阿查拉的烤法.

High Hopes Challenge #43~ Fall Into Autumn

We have another new start for High Hopes challenge, YAY !! I hope you all had a wonderful Summer and it's so great to be back for our new challenge!!! Before I tell you about this weeks challenge we would like to say a fond farewell to Niki and Janette. I miss you loads girls!!! We have some great news too and welcome Amy Leggate to our happy team.

This week challenge is Fall into Autumn.

If you don't have any suitable stamps for this challenge don't worry.... you can use any High Hopes image and use Autumnal colours/embellishments.The random winner of this weeks challenge will receive the below cute stamp - Book Worm and Sentiment "This book belongs to:".

I am not so good in making autumn card, I think:-))and I hope my card is qualified as autumn card:-))

I used My Mind's Eye Pretty Please patterned paper to make the background, and also used brown and orange paper to emboss the leaf by using cuttlebug machine. I used Copic Ciao markers to color the stamped image, distressed with Vintage photo distress ink on the edge. I also used raffia to tie the two sides of the ribbon. The sentiment is also from High Hopes rubberstamps.

Sarah Kay~May Your Day Be Filled With Happiness

YUP, this is the card! I love Sarah Kay and I want to stamp her for a long time !!! Very country look and I tried to use brown as the base color and I failed for many times to combine all the elements. So I know brown is not my color:-((

Patterned Paper from Webster Pages new line, stamps from Sarah Kay for sure, and sentiment from Just Rite stamps. Stamped image colored with copic ciao markers, all the flowers from prima marketing and the trim I bought from { I heart paper}.

I must apologize that I am not able to browse all your blog and drop some comments...we still in the process to settle down and getting normal daily schedule everyday and my dad is getting better and better day by day...I wish to thank you all for your nice comments, prayer and best wishes, may God bless you all.

Oh yes, do you know that Magnolia will be published a magazine? not ezine, but a real print magazine? which contain so many candy....how to do...sketches, step by step, tutorials, winter project, ornaments.........too many....be prepare and do feel the Magnolia spirit all the time!!!
