HHRS~Challenge#4~Anything but!

Today is Sunday and it's HHRS challenge again! This week's challenge is brought to you by the one and only NIKKI!!! We are allowed to make anything but a card! You can make either a tag, altered projects, a treat bag, just NOT a card!

Here is my contribution for the challenge, and I had ALOT of FUN, FUN, FUN, to make this Christmas jar. I plan to put some christmas candy to treat my kids or kids that come to our home for corolling.

It was a plain jar, I washed it clean and decorated it. Firstly, I stamped 3 High hopes rubberstamps on a strip of white paper, which are Fishing Santa,Woodland Santa,Holly the Winter Fairy and colored them with Copic Ciao markers. I cut the edges of the paper with decorative scissors then I brushed some Worn Lipstick Distress ink on the edges of the paper.Seondly, I rub-on Christmas rub-on in between the stamped images. Then I used a stirp of christmas ribbon (green color) and glue it above the white paper. At the bottom of the jar I also added vintage lace.

OK, now, the lid. I used a piece of red paper to make the cover, like the one we seen on the fruit jam. Then I used Christmas rub-on "Be Jolly" on the top.Tied a strip of christmas red and green ribbon, then stamped "Best fishes for a merry christmas"on a piece of paper which had been inked with distress ink and cut with decorative scissors, and tied it on the ribbon.

Viola!!

Before you go pop on over to Jeanne's blog. She has a real treat for all High Hopes fans and has a wonderful write up about the owner of High Hopes Rubber Stamps Tina and an interview with the incredibly talented Crissy Armstrong. If you leave a comment on Jeanne's post you will also be in with a chance to win her yummy candy too! There is also more inspiration to be found and she has made two very gorgeous cards.

Don't forget that our Diva candy hop continues and one of our other Diva's also has some sweet stuff. Use the links provided on the right of this post and get hopping!
