Here is my entry for this challenge. This box-card has been sent to Sweden:-)) I altered a wooden box and pasted it on a card. It was truly fun and amazed how the outcome turn up.This card is 6"x6" ( 15cmx15cm).
I painted the wooden box with gesso and white paint.
Here was the wooden box I painted. It took about half an hour to dried and ready to create.
I distressed all the wooden box edges with Ranger Walnut Stain ink to make it look vintage.
I cut four stripes of Pion design patterned papers to decorate the four sides of the wooden box.
Before that I stamped Tilda with Balloon rubberstamp on 300gsm watercoloring paper with Tsukineko Memento Black ink and colored with Ranger distress inks.
Here is the decorated wooden box. I pasted the four stripes of Pion design patterned papers on the four sides of wooden box.I used Magnolia doohickey Tilda lace to create the top lace and embelished with Prima trinkets. I use Prima packaging scrap paper to decorate the box too.I stamped "Happy Birthday" rubberstamp on scrap paper several times, distressed the paper with Walnut Stain ink and pasted it in the wooden box.
Here is the wooden box and pasted on the card. You may noticed that I used various flowers, berries to decorate the box.I also decorated two stick of cinnamon, I used vintage papers, lace and button to make it pretty. For the fence, I used Magnolia doohickey fence. I painted with Ranger Crackle paint-Picket Fence, let it dry and applied Crackle accent. I also used EK succes punch to make a butterfly and decorate the top of wooden box with some flowers. I glued vintage brown lace on four sides of wooden box. Attached a lots of pearls on the inner part of wooden box too.
Here is the side of the card. I used doily, Magnolia doohickey swirl die, Melissa Frances small keyhole, Tim Holtz film ribbon strip to decorate the card. I also stamped the "Happy Birthday" rubberstamp on paper too.
Here is another side of the card, with lots of paper flowers and a charm.
