Hello my friends...............
How are you ? Another week for us to move on and that's mean another fantastic challenge waiting for us ~~ really, it's a very challenging for me, Sepia colored. I am not really understand what is Sepia, so I searched a bit on internet, these was what I found :
For my understanding after I read some articles, Sepia is including in Brown color family. OK, this make thing easier. So, I decided that I just want to use one brown color on my image, Walnut Stain is my victim ...haha:-)) This was my very first time to color an image with ONE color, so it was really challenging for me and I took 3 hours to complete coloring it ...on my:-((
So, just one color, Ranger Distress ink ~Walnut Stain used on this image and a little bit of Black Soot ink to shade . I stamped Tilda on watercoloring paper with Tsukineko Memento Ink. After finished coloring, I cut the colored image with Spellbinders Oval dies. Patterned Papers from Magnolia product.I used Go-kreate die cut to make the card base.
Some of the flowers from Petaloo and some from I am roses. I embossed the oval edges with Frantage too. It was FUN !
Very pretty Petaloo flowers which I white wash it with Gesso paint. The resin butterfly made from Martha Stewart clay mold which given by a really sweet friend who always support me in my crafting life and real life too...haha...you know who you are :-))
A tag from Magnolia Doohickey dies cutting. I stamped Old Script background from Magnolia with Versafine sepia color , distressed with Walnut Stain, white-wash with gesso. Then I put some embelishments such as a heart cut from Magnolia patterned paper, raffia, treble clef-charm and a clothpin. I LOVE all these tiny decoration ! :-))
I hope you can accept my coloring, as I am not sure if it's looks sepia or not...hahaha.... but I hope you can try it and don't forget to pop over my lovely teamies blog to view their absolutely beautiful creation ! Have fun everyone !
