Hello my dear friends,
Here is a card I made these two days:-)) I inspired by my dear friend Yulis Kartika by her Tilda with Rooster card which she gave me as a precious gift when we met in Singapore last month.
I made a mother's day with Tilda as a Clown, feel funny ? Yes, you can laugh:-)) But, indeed , Magnolia rubberstamps are so versatile and suit with any occasion. I am sure your mom will be very happy and cheer to receive Tilda as a Clown as a mother's day card:-))
I colored the stamped image with distress ink pads, distress markers on Langton extra smooth 300gsm watercoloring paper which I got from my dearest teamie, Camilla S from Norway. Patterned paper made by Prima marketing and Magnolia.
Everyone and everywhere is crazy about frantage in cardmaking...so I give it a try! It was so fun to play with all those embossing powder, and I must admit, I with to say a word of thank you to my dear friend Yulis, because she encouraged me to try it :-)) All stamps on this card from Magnolia rubberstamps.
I stamped the alphabet MOM on corrugrated paper and painted with some gesso on it, glue a white string on top of them and added 3 pieces of rhinestones. You noticed the white spot on the cardstock ? I love to see the embossing powder melted when get heated.
An little piece of embelishment which I made it myself. The charm was bought from a store in Singapore, wow, they sold all kind of charm, and they are cheap ! I stamped " Love" background stamp on a piece of cardstock , put the piece of stamped paper on the charm ,then "trace" the size of the charm with my finger. Cut the "traced" paper with scissors, mat it "in" the charm and cut any excess of paper. I also put some matte glue on it.
I embossed the Magnolia patterned paper~ Cherry with Sizzix embossing folder~ Bubble.
I hope that you like my card and got inspired! ~
Happy Stamping and have a great day !
